OVERCOMING OBSTACLES
The first step in life is setting goals...and achieving them is the second step which makes most of us frustrated and feel like giving up. We do thisnot because our goals are unachievable but because of the obstacles and setbacks that come with achieving them. We must know that the only way to get our goals is to overcome these obstacles...in fact, unless we maneuver through these problems, we may fail to learn valuable lessons to keep us going in life.personal obstacles are related to the way we think; our state of mind, emotions, fear and beliefs. These thoughts naturally prevent us from making decisions and undertaking actions.
Lack of knowledge, lack of discipline, lack of inspiration, lack of skills, the fear of pain, fear of change, fear of failure, procrastination, pessimistic thoughts, too much complains, and excuses are also part of things that could keep one from achieving one's goals.Developing a good bond or relationship with others is also one of those things that can help. Try to subtly influence people and do not shove your ideas down their throat. Learn to understand people's needs, motivesand desires.Planning well also gives u an insight into possible scenarios, unexpected turns and a better understanding of possible consequences of your actionsStepping back emotionally is also a solution to overcoming obstacles. It is human and easy to react emotionally to situations...however, they aren't productive and do nothing to alleviate the situation. We must learnto step back from our emotions and see things from an external perspective through logic and reasoning.
You can also shift your perspective by viewing the situation from another person's view..seen guidance, breathe, take control and take action.Finally, before you know what to do in situations like this, acceptance and acknowledgementof the situation is very important. Learning from mistakes, making necessary sacrifices, experimenting new things, cultivating self confidence and calmness, and never dwelling on on negatives are the little things you can do to get up there.
